That is an interesting request. I would say that blind has many connotations. Literally it refers to the person who cannot see. On a more figurative level, it connotes foolishness in various areas. For example, we sometimes say, "the blind lead the blind." Monkey is a bit more concrete. In other words, the denotation is specific. It is an animal. On a more connotative level, you can say that it refers to people who fool around, usually children. We can say that children love to "monkey around." When it comes to snow, the connotation has usually to do with purity, cleanness, winter, Christmas. Finally, I should say that I am giving the connotations of someone who lives in New York.
