First of all, when interviewers introduce someone to their audiences, they provide some biographical background. For instance, you may wish to mention that Zaroff is a former general in the Russia army, having commanded a division of the Cossack cavalry in the Crimean Wars. Also, you may need to explain briefly how and why Zaroff has been transported from Shipwreck Island to New York City. (Do not reveal all the details as these should come out in the interview with the general.) Then you can say, "We go live now to ______Prison in New York City where ____(a name) is speaking to General Zaroff.
In the interview, Zaroff should be asked why and how he devised his "most dangerous game." An explanation of Ivan is needed, too, as well as what transpired with Sanger Langsford on the island and how he has ended up at the prison. Also, an inquiry about his guilt or innocence and the future for Zaroff as he himself sees it is pertinent. And, remember that journalists are to be objective and not demonstrate any opinion of the person being interviewer when asking questions. (Avoid saying anything that conveys any attitude or bias toward any of the characters.)
For the responses of Zaroff, be sure to stay within character. That is, have the answers given by Zaroff be characteristic of this arrogant, aggressive, cruel, and sadistic man.
